RIP “The Lord’s Bomb Servant”

August 6th, 2009

Former preacher of this show, Rory Graham, better known as “The Lord’s Bomb Servant” died this week. It is hard to be completely sad about this, when I know, as well as everyone else knows that he can only be in that better place that he preached about each week here on the show.

For as long as I can afford to keep this site running, Rory’s words will continue to inspire right here.

From archived show #18 on back,
Rory will be heard, and continue to bring people to Christ.

  2. Hello,my name is Laura and I’m Rory’s sister. He was the greates brother ever. Always praying, reading the Word and forever faithfully witnessing. I thought I would share this…About a year ago our family was at a hospital for our uncle who went on to be with the Lord, as we were waiting there was young lady in the emergency waiting area who had just had a baby but there was no one there with her. The hospital called her a cab so that she could get home. Unfortunately, she didn’t have any clothes to keep her warm nor money for the cab. Rory had just got the freshest NOTW jacket and he didn’t even think twice about the fact that we never know when entertaining angels or that fact that the least we do unto them we do unto HIM. Little Rory proceded to give the girl his new jacket and money. He then told her that Jesus loves her. The most amazing thing ever. Even in our time of need he saw a greater need to share the love of Jesus Christ with someone else.

Well done thy good and FAITHFUL SERVANT. I LOVE YOU ALWAYS…YOUR BIG SIS…LAURA

  4. Thanks so much for the story, Laura, it is just one of the many things Rory has done out of the kindness of his own heart. He always had others on his mind, and I know that I for one have been inspired by him since meeting him in the studio years ago.

I removed the account info because it could be a bad thing for the wrong people to get a hold of, please contact me as soon as you can, it might be better for us to send direct checks to you guys.
GOD BLESS I’m praying for your whole family

  5. Hi Laura — when Rory and I went to Israel together in 05/06′, it was like the Lord attached us at the hip — during our trip I challenged him to ‘step up’ and represent for the Lord on the air at Reality Hip Hop – a month later in February we were on the air at 91.9 KCSB-FM str8 reppin’ for Christ!! All I ever wanted to do was produce a phat show, and since “Lo-Lo” is tagalog for grandpa, it gives you some idea of my age — I had prayed for years for the Lord to bring someone young to present the Word, and God in His infinite wisdom sent Rory – who I began to call “R.P.G”, a Rocket Propelled Grenade in the hands of the Lord — it was the best of times while he was at Westmont — he became a 3rd son to me, and I remember one day he showed up at my place — I was renting the upstairs from my parents, and he had told my younger son who was there that I was like a dad to him — we always sat together at church whether it was thurs nites (summer) or Sundays, we always ate lunch after church, watched the Chargers together, and always went to eat at Chili’s after the radio show – we also kept each other accountable, since I was also single.
I cried when I heard the news — it felt like I had truly lost a son – but I want you to know something – thru all that time he was here, he would always remind to pray for you — so we were always lifting you up in prayer — on the way to the show — wherever we went – on the way to Juvee hall to witness — that was just another way your brother demonstrated his love for you . . . “Walt, let’s pray for my sister”
Can’t wait to see Rory again in heaven — your in my prayers Laura, you and your family.
    Shalom
    Walt
